Pygmalion’s Store
The name Pygmalion’s Store comes from the ancient myth of the sculptor Pygmalion. Inspired by the beauty of his lovers, Pygmalion set out to carve a marble statue of the ultimate, unrivaled beauty.
When the work was completed he found that not only had he succeeded in this mission but he had fallen in love with his marble creation.
He prayed to the Goddess Aphrodite for his statue to come to life. His wish was granted and with his kiss, the statue became flesh.
We see our work with silicone as a continuation of this age old instinct to honour, recreate and represent human beauty and to create objects beautiful enough to fall in love with.
This is the place where we offer our creations to you.
